Reiki Healing:
Reiki pronounced (Ray-key) is a Japanese word formed by two: Rei, which means universal and Ki, which means life force or energy. Reiki is the healing energy, which is abundantly present in the universe.

In Reiki therapy, this energy is utilised to boost the body-energy and the immunity. While treating, the Reiki practitioner merely has to place his/her hands on the patient or diseased body-part. No active effort (manipulation) or concentration is required. The moment the practitioner places their palms on the animal and invokes Reiki; it flows into the practitioner's own body and then emerges out of the hands to enter the animal's body. This flow continues on it's own until the needs of he the animal (for that moment) have been satisfied.
The Reiki practitioner has been attuned to act as a channel or a connecting link between the universal energy (i.e. Reiki) and the animals' energy.

Natural healing for sick or troubled animals
Reiki therapy enjoys a number of other advantages, too. Apart from having a curative aspect, it also has a preventive aspect. Reiki therapy is an excellent form of psychotherapy. It brings about profound, positive changes in the recipient's mind. The animal becomes relaxed and calm. Reiki hands on vibration energy healing is one of the most natural therapies in the world and something animals readily accept.

Until fairly recently, scientists have been quite sceptical about the claims made for hands on healing but more and more research has produced conclusive proof that healing works on several levels and that it works by using energies. It is for this reason that healing may be safely used for all conditions and has no adverse side effects. It compliments and works alongside traditional conventional treatments working on a deeper lever. Reiki therapy is finding favour with more and more vets. Reiki when used to complement conventional treatments can be very beneficial and aides the patient's recovery in less time than expected.

Important note to animal guardians:
Any therapy offered by Ginny is not intended to replace or act as an alternative to conventional treatments given by the vet
